The Globe theatre in London

These are some photos of the reconstructed Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

It really does give you this feeling that it would be really cool to watch one of his plays in that space.

According to the tour guide, the best seats in the house are standing right up to the stage like a 'groundling' and enjoying a beer while enjoying the play.

Wow - those pictures take me back to those good 'ol Ashland days in Oregon. They really did attempt to copy the Globe theatre as best they could, eh?

How was the trip back to France?

I saw A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Globe in London in 2002... we were standing in the pit, like the poor people we were.
